Hey everyone! It's Matt, remember me? It's been quite a while but I have never forgotten about my precious dA friends! I hope everyone is doing absolutely great and enjoying their beautiful summer!

I have been doing exceptionally well the past couple of months, just enjoying life and living every day with appreciation. I logged into dA today, and looked through all your journals to see how everyone is doing, some of you have been doing well, and others I am sad to see have been struggling. I also looked through quite a bit of your deviations, and as always, they are brilliant pieces of artwork!

I hope that everyone has a safe and thrilling summer and as I finish this journal, I'd like to share a quote that has personally impacted my outlook on life.

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up -- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.
